Year established: The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLGC), was created by the Government of Ontario on April 1, 2000 by merging the Ontario Casino Corporation (OCC), established in 1994, and the Ontario Lottery Corporation (OLC), established in 1975. The corporation rebranded as OLG in July 2006.

Products offered:
LOTTO SUPER 7 and LOTTO 6/49 are Interprovincial Lottery Corporation games that are also played in other provinces in Canada, and managed by OLGC in Ontario. Games offered exclusively in Ontario by the OLGC are: ONTARIO 49, ENCORE, LOTTARIO, PICK-3, DAILY KENO, BIG LINK BINGO, INSTANT, PRO-LINE, PRO-PICKS and POINT SPREAD

Beneficiaries: The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999, directs profits from charity casinos, slot facilities at racetracks, and lotteries to the operation of hospitals, including programs to address problem gambling, physical fitness, sport, recreational and cultural activities, and through the Ontario Trillium Foundation to charitable and not-for-profit organizations.
