Alan R. Yandow, Executive Director

Alan R. Yandow has held the position of Executive Director since July 1998. As Director, he is responsible for all lottery operations, regulations and policies. He is also instrumental in the Tri-State Lotto Commission. Before joining the Lottery, Yandow was with the Burlington Electric Department (VT) in marketing, government and public relations. He served as an officer and member of numerous national and regional public power boards and committees.
Also active in the local community, Alan currently serves on the board of directors for the Vermont City Marathon. Professionally, he is also on the board of directors of the National Council on Problem Gambling.
He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Political Science and Organization and Human Resource Development from the University of Vermont and has taken courses in the Master of Public Administration program. He is a Past President of NASPL.
